Trades against front offices that value players differently

A trade should be a negotiation with somebody who wants something else, not a check against a universal value chart.

Every GM has a taste

Rival general managers are archetyped and each values the same player differently. A rebuilding club and a contender do not price the same thirty-year-old the same way, so there is a real market rather than a single number everybody agrees on.

Both sides are guessing

Because scouting is fogged on both ends, a trade carries genuine adverse-selection risk. If somebody is unusually keen to give you a player, that is information, and the engine treats it as information.

It executes when both sides accept

In an online league there is no file to pass and no commissioner queue. Both sides accept and it is done, visible to the other twenty-eight teams immediately.
